Hello and welcome to Clare Harman Art!

I'm Clare Harman, an artist based in beautiful West Cork, Ireland. I have a huge love for creating realistic pet and animal portraits. To do that, I use a combination of soft and pencil pastels to help me capture the essence of what makes your pet so unique and special to you.

A few years ago, we had to say goodbye to our best

friend and amazing dog Titan. It honestly broke my

heart and I still don't go by without shedding a tear

when I think about him.

He was wonderful with our kids and more

importantly, he was part of our family. When he died

I wanted to do something special to remind us of

him. I love art and have enjoyed spending most of

my life drawing or painting in some form or another.

That's when I thought 'why don't I combine the two' and that's where my love of drawing pets and animals truly began.

It's so important to me to capture what makes your pet so special to you. Whether they're still with you or have passed on, I enjoy being able to include those important little details to ensure you have a wonderful portrait so that you can keep them close to your heart.
